Badges? we don't need no stinking badges!

A reader has made a too legitimate inquiry into the claim to infamy on the blog banner.

Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!" is a widely quoted paraphrase of a line of dialogue from the 1948 film The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
Original 1948 movie lines:

“Badges? We ain’t got no badges! We don’t need no badges! I don’t have to show you any stinking badges!”

The phrase became more famous in 1974 after being used in Blazing Saddles: “Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges!”
