Trump changes tune on Abortion, again.

Donald Trump made yet another contradictory statement on abortion on Friday, saying he supported the current legal status quo on abortion rights.

Trump told CBS: “The laws are set now on abortion and that’s the way they’re going to remain until they’re changed.” The flip comes after Trump stumbled badly on Wednesday when he stated women who have abortions should be punished. The comments caused an uproar. Trump then said the doctor or any other person performing the illegal act would be held legally responsible.

Despite his current pro-life stance, he described himself as “pro-choice in every respect” in 1999.
Recent poll numbers suggest Trump is collapsing. A collection of recent surveys by Real Clear Politics finds, on average, 30 percent of respondents hold a favorable view of Trump versus 63 percent who hold a negative one. Those numbers are roughly similar to President George W. Bush's approval ratings during his final months in office, which set the stage for Barack Obama's landslide victory.

Trump's numbers are horrific among black, Hispanic, and increasingly, woman voters.
