| A shooting on a bar patio in central Toronto that left one man dead and four other men injured late Monday was targeted. |
Police received multiple calls about the sound of gunfire in the area of Queen Street East and Sherbourne Street shortly after 11:17 p.m. A 32-year-old Toronto man succumbed to his injuries. Police called the shooting brazen and callous, saying stray bullets ricocheted through the patio which held nine people at the time.
|Homicide detectives say they are looking for a lone gunman who entered Libertarian Public House, a bar at 235 Queen St. E., in a central part of Toronto, and opened fire on the patio. The dead man is Toronto's 29th homicide victim of 2017.|
